Daughters Appeal to Pawan Kalyan Amid Family Conflict

Two daughters of Malladi Raju, the Kakinada district president of the Jana Sena Party’s Matskara Vikasa wing, have appealed to party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for assistance. The sisters allege that Raju has neglected them and is pressuring them to vacate their home. Their claims come amid a public outcry following the release of a video on social media, which has since gone viral.

In their video, the daughters recount a troubling family history. They allege that Raju married another woman while their mother, Manasa, was still alive. They assert that he subsequently ignored their family. “Our mother made appeals to the court and district officials for justice, but her pleas went unanswered. Eventually, she took her own life after consuming a large quantity of antidepressants. My father did not show up even for her funeral,” they stated. They expressed their distress over Raju’s demand for them to leave their home and urged Pawan Kalyan to intervene on their behalf.

In response to the allegations, Malladi Raju spoke to the Deccan Chronicle, claiming that certain political figures within the Jana Sena, as well as the YSRC and Telugu Desam parties, have conspired against him. He contended that these individuals are inciting his daughters to turn against him. Raju described his late wife as a loving partner, asserting that she had allowed him to marry again due to her illness. He claimed she had provided written consent for the marriage and affirmed this in court during legal proceedings related to a maintenance case.

Raju further defended his actions by stating that he has provided a good education for his daughters and has always been supportive of them. “I have promised to take care of their education and support their future marriages,” he said. He also mentioned his previous involvement in running a school that was subsequently taken over by his brother-in-law, who closed it and converted it into a residence. Raju expressed a desire for his daughters to reclaim the school and manage it themselves.

The conflict between Raju and his daughters raises significant questions about family dynamics and the impact of personal disputes on public figures. As the situation unfolds, the role of political influence in personal matters remains a focal point of discussion among observers in Kakinada and beyond.
