Data Analysis Workshop Empowers Students at Vikrama Simhapuri University

Nellore witnessed a significant academic event with the conclusion of a national-level workshop titled “Comprehensive One Week Workshop on R Programming and AMOS for Data Analysis and Visualization.” The workshop, jointly organized by the Department of Tourism Management and the Department of Statistics at Vikrama Simhapuri University, received financial backing from the PM–USHA (Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) initiative. The event wrapped up on March 23, 2024, and aimed to enhance the data analysis skills of students and researchers.

During the valedictory session, Prof. Allam Srinivasa Rao, the Vice-Chancellor of Vikrama Simhapuri University, underscored the importance of practical experience in today’s data-driven landscape. He urged participants not to limit their learning to traditional textbook methods but to embrace modern software tools such as R Programming and AMOS, which are essential for effective data analysis and visualization.
