BioAsia 2026 to Launch in Hyderabad with Record Participation
The BioAsia 2026 forum, Asia’s leading event for life sciences and health technology, will commence in Hyderabad on February 17. This year’s edition is set to be the largest yet, welcoming over 4,000 delegates and more than 500 companies from around the world. The event will be inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at 9:30 AM on the opening day.
Organized under the guidance of Chief Minister Reddy and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, BioAsia 2026 reflects the forum’s significant growth and its increasing importance within the global life sciences landscape. The previous edition in 2025 attracted approximately 3,000 delegates and featured an exhibition area of nearly 7,000 square meters. This year, the event has expanded to HITEX Hall 4, providing an exhibition space of 9,000 square meters.
Themes and Highlights of the Event
The 2026 forum is themed “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation & the Biology Revolution.” This theme underscores the integration of technology and biology, showcasing how these domains are revolutionizing healthcare. Over 175 exhibitors will display innovations in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, and advanced manufacturing.
To encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, BioAsia has established several specialized platforms. The Startup Pavilion will feature 40 emerging startups, while the Innovation Pavilion will highlight 16 exhibitors focused on breakthrough technologies and research advancements. Additionally, 22 MSME exhibitors will represent small and medium enterprises, demonstrating ongoing support for this vital sector.
Notable Speakers and Industry Participation
Keynote speakers will include prominent figures such as Prof. Bruce Levine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Howard Y. Chang from Amgen, and Pushmeet Kohli from Google DeepMind. Their sessions will concentrate on topics like AI-driven drug discovery, biomanufacturing, and advanced modalities.
The event will feature participation from leading global companies, including Novartis, Eli Lilly, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sanofi, MSD, and Miltenyi Biotec. Indian industry leaders such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Biocon Biologics will also be actively involved.
BioAsia 2026 aims to highlight the transformative potential of TechBio in reshaping global healthcare. The agenda will cover essential areas such as synthetic biology, genomics, biomanufacturing, and digital health, all contributing to breakthroughs that make healthcare more predictive, precise, and inclusive.
By bringing together scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers, BioAsia 2026 will serve as a vital platform to accelerate the TechBio revolution and open new avenues at the intersection of science, technology, and healthcare.
