Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar is set to be discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic today following a successful recovery, as confirmed by Doctor Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist and Chairman of the clinic. Pawar, who was admitted on February 9 due to chest congestion, has shown significant improvement and is now in good health.

In a statement, Doctor Grant noted, “Mr. Pawar is in good health and has recovered well. He will be discharged today. The medical team has advised him to take adequate rest for a few days, following which he may gradually resume his routine work and public engagements.”

Pawar’s daughter, Supriya Sule, provided further insights into his condition, stating that he required a five-day course of antibiotics but that all other vital parameters remained normal. “Baba has developed chest congestion and will need a five-day course of antibiotics. Fortunately, all other vital parameters are normal. Thank you all for your good wishes and constant support,” she expressed.

Health Update and Future Plans

On Monday, Rohit Pawar, another leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, shared that Pawar’s overall health continues to be stable. “Sharad Pawar’s health is very good right now. His tests have been done. He has not been kept in the ICU but in a private room. He doesn’t need any support there right now,” he informed reporters.

Rohit Pawar also indicated that a decision regarding whether Sharad Pawar will remain in Pune or be transferred to Mumbai will be made after reviewing the medical reports. “Pawar came here in a private vehicle, and everything is normal,” he added.

He urged party workers to refrain from visiting the hospital, emphasizing the importance of not disturbing other patients. “I, Supriya Tai, the doctors, the party workers, and people from across Maharashtra will provide regular updates,” he stated, ensuring that the public remains informed about Pawar’s recovery journey.

As Sharad Pawar prepares for his return home, the focus now shifts to his gradual resumption of duties, as he takes the time necessary to fully recover from his recent health issues.
