Gaurav Khanna Supports Wife Akanksha Chamola Amid Viral Dance Controversy
Gaurav Khanna, the winner of Bigg Boss 19, has publicly defended his wife, Akanksha Chamola, following a wave of online trolling related to a viral dance video. The video captured her celebrating Khanna’s recent success during a party, which has sparked considerable debate on social media.
During an interview with Hungama Studio, Khanna addressed the situation, clarifying that the dance was a joyful expression of celebration among his team members. He emphasized that Akanksha was enjoying a moment intended to honor the hard work of those who supported him while he was inside the Bigg Boss house. “This was a success party, and we were there to be a part of their celebration,” he explained.
Khanna further elaborated that Akanksha danced alongside team members of his publicist, who had been instrumental in his journey on the reality show. “I just stood behind and let her enjoy it, as it was my team’s win after all,” he noted. The couple’s appearance at the event was meant to acknowledge their collective achievement, rather than to seek attention.
Despite the trolling, Khanna expressed his indifference to online negativity. “I don’t get affected by them, as I understand they are fans of someone,” he stated, suggesting that some critics may have ulterior motives. He appreciates his wife’s extroverted nature, which he feels adds vibrancy to their lives together.
Gaurav and Akanksha’s relationship has been marked by a strong connection since they married on November 24, 2016, in a grand ceremony held in Khanna’s hometown of Kanpur. Their love story, which blossomed over a period of courtship, continues to be a focal point for fans and followers alike.
In an age where social media can amplify both celebration and criticism, Khanna’s support for his wife highlights the dynamics of public life and personal relationships in the entertainment industry. The couple appears committed to focusing on their happiness and shared successes, rather than the opinions of online detractors.
