Exam Structure and Scoring Details

The XAT 2026 exam comprised five sections divided into three parts. The first part included Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation. The second part involved keyboard testing, while the third consisted of Essay Writing and General Awareness.

Each question on the XAT 2026 carries a value of 1 mark, with a total of 95 questions anticipated. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates may skip up to 8 questions without facing any penalties; however, exceeding this limit incurs a deduction of 0.1 marks for each additional question skipped. Notably, the General Knowledge (GK) section does not have negative marking and does not contribute to the overall percentile or cutoff score, but it will be considered during the selection process.

For any assistance with downloading the response sheet, candidates can reach out via the helpdesk at +91 919513630765 from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. Alternatively, they can send queries to [email protected].
