Atchannaidu Commits to Addressing Public Grievances in Tekkali
Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, the Agriculture Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has pledged to take decisive action on public grievances during a recent meeting in Tekkali. The event, held at the Nimmada camp office on Sunday, March 10, 2024, focused on the government’s commitment to rural development and improving the quality of life for residents.
During the meeting, Atchannaidu emphasized the need for government officials to work diligently to address the concerns raised by the community. He stated that the alliance government is prioritizing job creation, infrastructure development, and access to essential services such as irrigation and drinking water.
A significant number of petitions were presented by residents from the Tekkali and Nandigam mandals. The minister urged officials to take immediate action on these issues, particularly those related to employment, pensions, and housing. He announced that new pensions would be granted to eligible beneficiaries while ineligible individuals would be removed from the rolls.
Focus on Infrastructure and Employment
Atchannaidu revealed plans to strengthen the industrial sector, which he believes will enhance job opportunities in the region. He instructed the Panchayat Raj, roads, and buildings departments to accelerate ongoing development projects in the villages. Key initiatives include the construction of roads, drainage systems, and household drinking water schemes.
He stressed that these projects must be completed within the established timelines and adhere to strict quality standards. Atchannaidu warned that any lapses in quality would not be tolerated, underscoring the importance of transparency and timely execution in all development works.
Leaders, activists, and mandal representatives participated in the meeting, encouraging villagers to voice their grievances and submit petitions. Among those present were Tekkali RDO Krishnamurthy and other officials, including Sudhakar. Their involvement highlights the collaborative effort required to address the needs of the community effectively.
