Telangana Government Appoints Dr. Harish Chandra Reddy as MGM In-Charge

The Telangana government has appointed Dr. P. Harish Chandra Reddy as the in-charge superintendent of MGM Hospital in Warangal, effective immediately. Previously serving as the superintendent of the Government General Hospital in Mancherial, Dr. Reddy’s new role comes as the health department issues an order relieving Dr. K. Kishore Kumar, a professor of orthopaedics, from his additional duties at MGM.

The health, medical and family welfare department’s decision aims to ensure effective management at the hospital. Dr. Reddy is expected to maintain the administrative continuity during this transition, while the Director of Medical Education has been tasked with filling the temporary vacancy at the Mancherial hospital to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Dr. Reddy will continue to receive his salary from his original position until further directives are issued. This arrangement reflects the government’s commitment to a smooth handover and stability within the hospital management structure.

When reached for comment regarding his transfer, Dr. Kishore Kumar stated that he would provide a response after reviewing the relevant documentation.
