Haryana Government Implements Administrative Reshuffle for 21 Officers
The Haryana government has executed a significant administrative reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 20 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and one Haryana Civil Services officer. This move, announced on Saturday, aims to enhance governance and operational efficiency within various departments.
Among the notable changes, Sudhir Rajpal, who serves as the additional chief secretary, has been assigned the environment, forests, and wildlife department while retaining his responsibilities in health, family welfare, Ayush, and medical education and research. This dual role underscores the government’s strategy to streamline leadership across critical sectors.
Another key appointment is Raja Sekhar Vundru, who has taken over the transport department. He replaces T L Satyaprakash, who will now oversee the women and child development department in addition to his current role in the mines and geology department as commissioner and secretary. These changes reflect the government’s focus on ensuring capable leadership in vital areas.
In the restructuring, P C Meena has transitioned to the commissioner of Rohtak division, while Rajiv Rattan has been appointed as the new commissioner of this division, also holding the charge of Karnal division. Such adjustments aim to bolster the effectiveness of administrative operations at the divisional level.
The reshuffle also includes changes in deputy commissioner roles. Munish Nagpal is now the deputy commissioner of Charkhi Dadri, Satpal Sharma has been appointed as the deputy commissioner of Panchkula, and Vivek Bharti will serve as the new deputy commissioner of Fatehabad. These appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and enhance the delivery of services at the local level.
This comprehensive administrative restructuring highlights the Haryana government’s commitment to optimizing governance by placing experienced officials in strategic positions. Such changes are often seen as vital for addressing the evolving needs of the state’s diverse population and improving the overall administration.
As the government implements this reshuffle, officials and citizens alike will be observing how these changes translate into enhanced governance and service delivery in Haryana.
