IUST Launches Initiative to Boost Student Technology Readiness

In a significant development to enhance its innovation and technology incubation framework, the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has introduced a structured mechanism designed to assist students in advancing their projects towards higher Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs). This initiative, announced on March 5, 2024, aims to equip final-year students with innovation grants that will support the further development of their concepts through essential resources such as materials procurement, prototyping, testing, and validation.

According to Vice Chancellor Prof. Shakil A. Romshoo, IUST is committed to fostering a dynamic ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology incubation.
