The Sports University of Haryana (SUOH) made a significant impact at the 15th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport (IACSS-2025), held in Tokyo, Japan, from September 12 to 16, 2025. Professor Yogesh Chander, Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sports, led a team comprising Vinit Kumar, Sagar Dalal, and Sanyam Malik to present two research papers selected for oral presentation at this prestigious event.
One of the key research topics addressed the integration of digital tools in pre-service coaching practices, evaluated through a detailed case study at SUOH. The second paper focused on the impact of resistance training on physical fitness parameters specifically in Kabaddi and wrestling players. These findings contribute valuable insights into how technology can enhance coaching methodologies and athletic performance.

The symposium served as a platform for knowledge exchange among academic professionals and researchers in the field of sports science and computer technology. The presentations sparked discussions on innovative coaching practices and the future of sports training methodologies in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The recognition received by the Sports University of Haryana underlines its commitment to pushing the boundaries of sports education and research. By engaging with global experts, SUOH is paving the way for future advancements in sports science, further enhancing the university’s reputation on an international scale.
In summary, the success of Professor Chander and his team at IACSS-2025 exemplifies the University’s dedication to advancing sports science and integrating technology into coaching practices, making significant contributions to both national and global sports communities.
