PM Modi Leads Military Conference to Review Operation Sindoor

India’s military leadership will gather in Kolkata from September 15 to 17, 2023, for the first Combined Commanders’ Conference since the successful execution of Operation Sindoor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan will address senior military commanders to review critical lessons learned from the operation and discuss modernization efforts within the armed forces.

Initially scheduled for earlier in the year, the conference was postponed due to evolving security concerns. The event will take place at the headquarters of the Eastern Command, where leaders from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force will examine a range of pressing topics, including human resources management, organizational challenges, and future warfare strategies.
