The visit, which constitutes a three-day State Visit to India, has also included meetings with other prominent officials. S. Jaishankar, India’s External Affairs Minister, noted that continued high-level interactions would further fortify relations between the two countries. He highlighted that President Stubb is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Raisina Dialogue 2026, India’s flagship conference focused on geopolitics and geo-economics.

Welcoming Delegation and Future Engagements

President Stubb arrived in New Delhi on March 13, 2024, where he received a ceremonial welcome, complete with a Guard of Honour. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers, senior officials, and business leaders, emphasizing Finland’s commitment to engaging with India.

In addition to his discussions with Prime Minister Modi, Stubb is set to meet with Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, and C. P. Radhakrishnan, the Vice President. After concluding his engagements in New Delhi, he will travel to Mumbai for meetings with Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and several Indian business leaders.
