India Mourns as Meher Castelino, First Femina Miss India, Dies
The Indian fashion and pageant industry is mourning the loss of Meher Castelino, who passed away at the age of 81. Castelino was celebrated as India’s first-ever Femina Miss India, a title she earned in 1964. Her death was confirmed by the Miss India Organization, which paid tribute to her pioneering spirit and the legacy she leaves behind.
