Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Hosts ‘Launch Pe Charcha’ for Youth Engagement
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is set to engage with the youth of the capital during a live interaction titled ‘Launch Pe Charcha’ on January 11, 2025. This event, coinciding with the upcoming National Youth Day, aims to foster open dialogue and address critical issues affecting the younger generation in Delhi.
In a recent social media announcement, Gupta emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Since it’s a working day and you will all be busy, Sunday, January 11 – let’s meet over lunch.” This invitation reflects her commitment to making governance more accessible to the youth.
Agenda for the Interaction
The ‘Launch Pe Charcha’ program is designed to focus on three main areas of discussion. Firstly, it will address grievances that have accumulated over the past 11 years. Secondly, participants will engage in a candid review of the governance during Gupta’s first 11 months in office, which began in February 2025. Finally, the discussion aims to generate actionable plans that can transform young people’s ideas into tangible outcomes.
Through this initiative, Gupta seeks to align the development of Delhi with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision 2047, emphasizing the importance of youth participation in shaping the future of the city.
Participation Details
To join this interactive session, interested individuals are encouraged to either comment or send a direct message to Gupta’s social media handles. The inaugural lunch will accommodate approximately 15-20 individuals, providing an intimate setting for meaningful conversations.
This initiative draws inspiration from the Prime Minister’s annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, which aims to engage students in discussions about their challenges and aspirations. By facilitating these conversations, Gupta hopes to not only address the concerns of Delhi’s youth but also to actively involve them in the governance process.
As the youth prepare to gather for this significant event, their voices will be integral in shaping the policies that affect their lives and futures in the bustling metropolis of Delhi.
