Bengaluru recently hosted a vibrant gathering as the Bhumika Club celebrated its 35th edition, marking the 15th event in the city. The event, titled “Gold Winner presents Bhumika Club,” brought together women, children, industry leaders, and artists for an engaging programme focused on inspiration, empowerment, and community.

The event showcased the platform’s commitment to uniting women from diverse backgrounds to foster interaction and personal growth through meaningful social experiences. Attendees participated in a variety of activities that included a cookery contest, a high-energy Zumba session, live music performances, and interactive games. A particularly inspiring session on “Skill to Income,” led by Asha Biradar, president of the WICCI Leadership Coaching Council in Karnataka, highlighted pathways for personal and professional development.

Highlights of the Day’s Activities

One of the standout features of the event was the Kids Fashion Show, where young participants showcased their talents across three age categories: 3-5, 6-10, and 11-15 years. Judges evaluated participants based on confidence, creativity, and expression, ultimately selecting top winners in each group. The Gold Winner Little Star title for ages 3-5 went to Aarna, while Manmit and Disha J secured the Junior Style Star and Teen Trendsetter titles, respectively.

In addition to the fashion show, the cookery contest saw Triveni emerge as the winner, with Latha finishing as the runner-up. The event also featured a lucky draw, with the first prize—a water purifier valued at Rs 15,000—won by Sujatha Suresh. Another highlight was the awarding of two VVIP passes to the 2026 Prajavani Cine Sammaana Awards, which went to Vimala J.

Distinguished Guests and Community Impact

The event attracted several distinguished guests, including Kiran Sundararajan, COO of TPML, and Kusuma H, spokesperson for the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. Actress Shyam Kanwar and representatives from Gold Winner, DH, Prajavani, and Kings Club Nagarabhavi participated in discussions about community initiatives and women’s empowerment.

As the day concluded, the participants left with a renewed sense of inspiration and connection, reflecting the Bhumika Club’s mission to empower individuals through community engagement. The successful event not only celebrated talent and creativity but also reinforced the importance of collaboration and support among women in various fields.
