Health Pavilion Unveiled at Vibrant Gujarat 2026, Promotes Wellness

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has launched a Health Pavilion at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition 2026, taking place from January 11 to 15 at Marwadi University in Rajkot, Gujarat. The pavilion, themed “Swasthya Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” aims to promote public health initiatives and provide visitors with free health services and information.

Spanning approximately 700 square metres, the Health Pavilion was inaugurated by senior officials from the Ministry of Health, alongside representatives from the State Government and District Health Authorities. This initiative reflects the Indian government’s commitment to enhancing public health systems and fostering a healthier society.

Comprehensive Services Offered

The pavilion features 26 stalls that represent 12 Programme Divisions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. These stalls provide a diverse array of healthcare services, informational support, and awareness activities at no cost to visitors. To facilitate engagement, a Programme Division-wise list of services is displayed prominently at both entry points of the pavilion.

The Ministry’s participation in the exhibition focuses on promoting preventive healthcare and increasing public awareness of various government health programmes. An interactive zone within the pavilion encourages community engagement, delivering health-related messages in accessible and innovative ways.

Community Stories and Positive Impact

Following the inauguration, local TB Champions shared their personal experiences of recovery and emphasized the importance of government initiatives in their treatment journeys. Additionally, Peer PLHIV (People Living with HIV) provided testimonies that highlighted the positive impact of government interventions in improving access to treatment, psychosocial support, and enhancing the overall quality of life for those affected by HIV and AIDS.

The Health Pavilion has garnered enthusiastic responses from visitors, including international delegates, and has quickly become a significant attraction at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition 2026.
