Tusshar Kapoor and Jeetendra Sell Mumbai Property for ₹559.25 Crore
Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor and his father, veteran actor Jeetendra Kapoor, have completed a significant real estate transaction in Mumbai. The duo has sold a prime commercial property located in the Chandivali area for an impressive ₹559.25 crore, highlighting their business interests outside of the film industry.
According to documents reviewed by Square Yards, the property is situated in Balaji IT Park, specifically the DC-10 Building. This commercial space boasts a built-up area of 30,195 square meters (approximately 325,016 square feet), making it a substantial asset in a growing market.
Chandivali: A Rising Commercial Hub
Chandivali is increasingly recognized as an emerging residential and commercial micro-market in central Mumbai. The area benefits from its strategic location, nestled between well-established business districts such as Powai, Andheri East, and Saki Naka. Excellent connectivity is assured through major thoroughfares including the Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), LBS Marg, and the Eastern Express Highway. This combination of rising residential demand and improving social infrastructure positions Chandivali as an attractive real estate destination.
Last year, Balaji IT Park witnessed another high-profile transaction, with a deal registered in May 2025 valued at ₹855 crore, further underscoring the area’s growing appeal to investors.
About the Kapoor Family
Jeetendra Kapoor, once one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors, has transitioned successfully into the business realm. He serves as the chairman of both Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures, which collectively generate a total revenue of ₹422 crore. Jeetendra resides in the luxurious Krishna Bungalow in Juhu, valued at ₹200 crore.
On the other hand, Tusshar Kapoor is known for his versatile acting career in Hindi cinema. He has starred in various films, including the popular Golmaal series, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and The Dirty Picture. Recently, he appeared in Mastiii 4 alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani. Tusshar is also looking forward to his upcoming project, Welcome to the Jungle, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, and Disha Patani, set to be released later this year.
This latest property sale marks a noteworthy chapter in the Kapoor family’s business ventures, demonstrating their ongoing influence in both the entertainment industry and the real estate market.
