Sanjay Gupta Confirms Kaabil 2 is Written, Focused on Krrish 4

The buzz surrounding the potential sequel to the 2017 film Kaabil has intensified after filmmaker Sanjay Gupta hinted at a follow-up on social media. In a recent interaction on X, Gupta responded to a fan’s question, stating that Kaabil 2 was “ready” and “deadlier.” Although he later deleted the post, it quickly gained traction through shared screenshots.

In an exclusive statement addressing the public reaction, Gupta clarified his comments, saying, “My tweet was a reply in jest to a personal friend. The fact is that yes, Kaabil 2 has been written and this time it is indeed far more deadlier.” He emphasized that the immediate focus of the Roshan family, particularly Hrithik Roshan, is on the upcoming project Krrish 4. Gupta expressed confidence that this film “will be bigger than the first three put together,” indicating a significant commitment to the franchise.

The original Kaabil featured Hrithik Roshan as Rohan Bhatnagar, a visually impaired man whose life is upended by a violent crime. The film, which also starred Yami Gautam Dhar as his wife, Supriya, portrayed their struggle for justice, showcasing Rohan’s determination and resilience.
