Chitrangda Singh Defends Salman Khan’s Punctuality on Set
Chitrangda Singh has publicly defended fellow actor Salman Khan against recent allegations regarding his punctuality on film sets. In an interview with Zoom, Singh addressed speculations that claimed Khan often arrives late, sharing her own positive experiences from the set of their upcoming film, Battle Of Galwan. The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is generating considerable interest and is set to release its first look on December 27, 2025, coinciding with Khan’s 60th birthday.
During her conversation, Singh emphasized Khan’s dedication and professionalism throughout the filming process. She stated, “I had also heard of this and I can vouch for it that not one day has he been late.” According to Singh, Khan was consistently present, even during emotionally charged scenes where he was not required to act. “He would be there at 10:30 in the morning. Not just one day, but three back-to-back days,” she affirmed.
The actress painted a picture of Khan as a committed collaborator, deeply involved in the creative aspects of the film. She elaborated on how he would proactively think about improving scenes and ensure they did not appear staged. Singh noted, “He is so invested and all the time thinking ki yeh scene ko kaise better kar sakte hai.”
Singh also reflected on her initial impressions of Khan before working with him, which were shaped largely by industry gossip. “For me, everything was a surprise because you get told so much and you expect aise hoga, vaisa hoga. It was not like that at all,” she remarked. Her experience revealed a different side of Khan, one that demonstrated his earnestness in engaging with every aspect of the filmmaking process.
She expressed admiration for his commitment to his craft, stating, “I don’t buy it when people say he is indifferent to his cinema; he is so invested and concerned.” Singh concluded her remarks by emphasizing her respect for Khan’s dedication, noting that he is always focused on work and improving his performances.
As anticipation builds for Battle Of Galwan, which is based on real-life events, Singh’s comments may help reshape public perception of Khan as a professional actor. The film is currently in production, with its release date yet to be announced.
