Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Secures ₹56 Crore from Plot Auction

The Rajiv Swagruha Corporation successfully generated ₹56 crore from an auction of residential plots on March 16, 2024. The sale took place in the Thorrur area, located near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and close to the Shamshabad Airport. A total of seventy plots were auctioned, with the highest bid reaching ₹45,000 per square yard.

The corporation had announced the auction of a total of 105 plots, including additional parcels in Bahadurpally and Kurmalguda. The remaining plots, comprising 35 in Thorrur and 32 in Bahadurpally and Kurmalguda, are scheduled for auction on March 17, 2024. This initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to develop residential opportunities in the Hyderabad area.

In a statement, the Rajiv Swagruha Corporation also revealed its commitment to supporting middle and low-income groups. Through a lottery system, the corporation selected beneficiaries for the allotment of 71 flats in gated communities located in Bandlaguda, Nagole, and Pocharam. This aspect of the initiative contributed an additional ₹11 crore to the corporation’s revenue.

The auction reflects a growing interest in real estate development around the Outer Ring Road, a vital infrastructure project that enhances connectivity to various parts of the city. With the ongoing urbanization of Hyderabad, such initiatives are increasingly significant in addressing housing demand.
