MG Cyberster Launches Irises Cyan Colour in India, Enhancing Design
MG Motor India has unveiled a striking new colour for its all-electric Cyberster convertible roadster, introducing the Irises Cyan shade to the Indian market. This unique colour blends blue and green tones, designed to enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamic features and overall aesthetic appeal. The new shade aims to interact dynamically with light and motion, significantly elevating the car’s road presence.
Design Inspired by Heritage
The Cyberster draws inspiration from MG’s rich history, particularly the classic MG B Roadster, which is renowned for its pure design and motorsport heritage. The Cyberster’s exterior is available in an array of dual-tone options, including Nuclear Yellow and Flare Red with a contrasting black roof, as well as more subdued choices like Andes Grey and Modern Beige paired with a red roof.
Despite the addition of the Irises Cyan colour, the mechanical specifications of the Cyberster remain unchanged. The vehicle features a powerful dual e-motor drivetrain and is powered by a robust 77 kWh battery. This configuration allows the electric roadster to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200 km/h.
Performance and Technology Features
The MG Cyberster is equipped with an electric powertrain that generates a peak output of 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. The two-door model boasts nearly a 50:50 weight distribution, promoting exceptional handling characteristics, complemented by a double-wishbone front suspension system.
The 77 kWh lithium-ion battery offers a claimed range of 580 km on a single charge. Charging options include both AC and DC fast charging, with a 150 kW DC fast charger capable of charging the battery from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 40 minutes.
In terms of dimensions, the Cyberster measures 4,535 mm in length, 1,913 mm in width, and 1,329 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm.
The interior of the Cyberster features a modern triple-screen cockpit layout, featuring a central 10.25-inch display flanked by two 7-inch screens. Other notable amenities include a power-operated soft-top roof, 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a premium Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 360-degree camera unit.
The MG Cyberster is priced at Rs. 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as a luxurious option for enthusiasts seeking a blend of performance and style in the electric vehicle market.
