Currently, the Corporation is also progressing on an additional 1,519 works, extending approximately 226.54 km. Officials have been directed to accelerate these projects to ensure timely benefits for residents. The focus remains on enhancing the infrastructure to improve connectivity and safety for the public.

Over the past four years, the Corporation has executed a total of 5,215 road development projects at a cumulative cost of ₹415.06 crore. These projects have covered a significant distance of 860.69 km and were supported by various schemes, including the Tamil Nadu Urban Road Infrastructure Project (TURIP), Nagarpura Salai Mempattu Thittam (NSMT), and special funds from the State Finance Commission (SFC).

On Friday night, key officials, including District Monitoring Officer A.R. Rahul Nath, District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, and Corporation Commissioner M.
