Canara Bank Employees Stage Beef Ban Protest in Kochi

The protest garnered attention from various political figures in Kerala. Independent MLA KT Jaleel publicly expressed his support for the employees, condemning the manager’s actions. In a Facebook post, he asserted, “It is not up to superior officers to decide what to wear, what to eat, or what to think.” Jaleel further emphasized the need for respecting Kerala’s political and cultural values, stating that they should not be dictated by personal beliefs.
