About Son of Sardaar 2
Son of Sardaar 2, featuring Ajay Devgn, is set to premiere in theatres on August 1, 2025. This comedy entertainer marks the return of Ajay in a lead role, supported by Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film includes a diverse ensemble cast comprising Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Ahluwalia, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta. It serves as a sequel to the 2012 hit film.
Details on Dhadak 2
Releasing concurrently with Son of Sardaar 2, Dhadak 2 stars Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, this romantic drama delves into complex themes such as caste discrimination and forbidden love. While it shares a spiritual connection with the 2018 film Dhadak, which featured Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, the sequel draws inspiration from the acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.
As both films gear up for their release, the excitement among fans continues to build, highlighting the competitive yet supportive nature of the film industry. With strong narratives and talented casts, audiences can expect a significant box office battle this weekend.
