Yogi Adityanath Addresses Saints at Dharm Sabha in Haryana
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a significant gathering of saints and devotees during a Dharm Sabha in Songal village, located in Haryana’s Kaithal, on Saturday. The event marked a reunion of spiritual leaders after many years and underscored the cultural and spiritual importance of the region.
Spiritual Significance of Songal
In his address, CM Adityanath emphasized the historic legacy of Songal, describing it as a “sacred land” that has had a profound influence throughout various eras. He expressed his honor in participating in the Dharm Sabha, where he sought the blessings of the gathered saints and devotees. “After many years, such a massive gathering of saints and devotees has assembled here in Songal,” he stated. “I have the privilege today, through this holy Bhandara and Dharm Sabha, to seek your darshan and pay my respects to that sacred tradition.”
The Chief Minister highlighted that events like these strengthen the spiritual and cultural heritage of India, inspiring communities to embrace faith and service. He remarked on the unifying effect of such gatherings, which draw people from diverse backgrounds together.
Promoting Unity and Cultural Values
CM Adityanath further noted that the Dharm Sabha not only reinforces religious values but also fosters a sense of unity and harmony among participants. He commended the local organizers and devotees for their efforts in hosting the event, which attracted a large number of spiritual leaders and followers eager to engage in religious discourse and community feasting.
During the Dharm Sabha, attendees participated in prayers and discussions centered around their spiritual beliefs. CM Adityanath took the opportunity to reiterate the importance of preserving India’s rich spiritual traditions, acknowledging the contributions of the saints present at the gathering.
In a related development, on Friday, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated two phases of the 28-kilometre Green Corridor project in Lucknow, alongside Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister and Lucknow MP. This project aims to enhance urban mobility in the state capital and represents a significant step in infrastructure development.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is committed to realizing the vision of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, under the guidance of Defence Minister Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The inauguration included the laying of the foundation stone for the upcoming phases of the Green Corridor project, which is expected to improve transportation efficiency in the region.
Overall, the events in Songal and Lucknow reflect a broader initiative to strengthen community ties and enhance infrastructure, showcasing the government’s focus on cultural heritage and urban development.
