A special train service has been inaugurated to transport devotees from Hyderabad to Ajmer for the 814th Urs of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz. The train was officially flagged off on Tuesday from Nampally station by MLA Md. Majid Hussain. This initiative is part of a broader effort spearheaded by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), which successfully secured the allocation of four special trains from various locations.

In addition to the service from Nampally, another train is set to depart from Kachiguda later this week. The party’s chief, Asaduddin Owaisi, has also requested that additional services be arranged from Nanded and Machilipatnam, with a route through Ongole. This strategic planning aims to accommodate the influx of devotees attending the significant pilgrimage.

MLA Hussain emphasized the importance of enhancing the travel experience for pilgrims. “These special trains feature additional sleeper coaches to maximize capacity for devotees. We have requested the railway authorities to ensure safety, security, and improved amenities to make the journey as comfortable as possible,” he stated.

As the pilgrimage draws near, the demand for transportation has surged, prompting local representatives to advocate for more services. The aim is to cater to the large number of individuals expected to attend the Urs, a time-honored event commemorating the life and teachings of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, a revered Sufi saint.

The special train service highlights the collaboration between local government officials and the railway authorities, reflecting a commitment to supporting religious events that hold deep significance for many. By providing dedicated transport options, the initiative seeks to facilitate a smooth and safe journey for all participants.

As the date of the Urs approaches, the railway services are preparing for increased traffic. The successful execution of this project will not only benefit the devotees but also enhance the overall travel experience for those making the journey to Ajmer.
