Marathwada Endovascular Summit 3.0 Set for December 6 at MGM College

The Marathwada Endovascular Summit 3.0 will take place on December 6, 2023, at the Dyotan Hall of MGM Medical College in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. This one-day conference aims to bring together over 700 delegates to discuss advancements in vascular science, oncology, endovascular therapies, and ultrasound technology.

Organised by the Interventional Radiology Department of MGM Medical College and Hospital in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association, the summit intends to explore the future of medical treatment through the integration of technology and innovation. According to Dr Pravin Suryawanshi, chairman of the organising committee, and Dr Shivaji Pole, secretary, the event will facilitate important discussions among leading experts in the field.

Expert Insights and Sessions

Three prominent national-level experts will guide the summit’s sessions. They include Dr Hemant Deshmukh, former dean of KEM Hospital in Mumbai; Dr Jagdish Singh, a senior consultant at AIG Institute in Hyderabad; and Dr Gaurav Sharma, an alumnus of MGM Medical College and a senior consultant in musculoskeletal interventions based in Jaipur.

In the morning session, attendees will benefit from presentations by Dr Saurabh Joshi, Dr Rahul Choudhary, and Dr Pole, focusing on the management of vascular and pulmonary embolism. These discussions are expected to provide valuable insights into current practices and emerging trends in the field.

Inaugural Ceremony and Key Attendees

The formal inauguration of the summit will occur in the afternoon, featuring notable figures such as Ankushrao Kadam, vice-chancellor of MGM University; Dr PM Jadhav, vice-president of MGM Trust; Dr Shivaji Sukre, dean of Government Medical College; and Dr Rajendra Bohra, dean of MGM Medical College. Other prominent attendees include Dr Suryawanshi, Dr Aparna Kakkad, Dr Girish Gadekar, and Dr Raghavan.
