Realme Launches P4x 5G Smartphone with Impressive Features
Realme has introduced the P4x 5G smartphone in India, targeting users who desire high performance and extended battery life at an affordable price point. The device features a robust 7,000mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging capabilities and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. Additionally, the P4x 5G comes equipped with a dual-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, ensuring impressive photography and videography capabilities.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme P4x 5G is priced at ₹15,499 for the base model, which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, according to Gadget 360. The higher-end versions, featuring 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, are listed at ₹16,999 and ₹17,999, respectively. To celebrate the launch, the base variant will be available at a promotional price of ₹13,499. Sales will commence on December 10, 2023, at noon IST through Flipkart and Realme’s online store.
The device will be available in three attractive colors: Matte Silver, Elegant Pink, and Lake Green. Customers can also benefit from various promotional offers, including a ₹1,000 discount coupon on Realme’s official website and Flipkart, along with additional bank offers worth up to ₹1,500.
Camera and Features
The P4x 5G boasts an advanced camera system, highlighted by a 50-megapixel AI main camera that supports 4K video recording. The camera includes AI features such as Eraser, Motion Deblur, and Glare Remover, which enhance the quality of photos. For selfies, an 8-megapixel front camera is integrated into the design.
Realme has adopted an “aerospace-inspired” design for the P4x, featuring a vertical pill-shaped camera module and bold branding on the back. The device measures 8.39mm in thickness and weighs 208 grams. It showcases a 6.72-inch display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz and peak brightness reaching 1,000 nits, providing an enhanced viewing experience complemented by dual speakers.
The dual SIM (Nano+Nano) smartphone operates on Realme UI 6.0 and features a full-HD (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 391 ppi. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, built on a 6nm architecture, is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. An additional 18GB of virtual RAM is also supported to enhance performance. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 5G, BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi.
Realme asserts that the P4x 5G is designed to deliver exceptional performance, claiming it scores over 780,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. It is reported to support smooth gaming experiences at 90 FPS for titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, and up to 120 FPS for Free Fire, appealing to mobile gamers seeking high-performance devices.
