Nisha Singh Celebrates Victory, Highlights Nitish-Kumar Modi Bond
BJP candidate Nisha Singh has successfully retained the Pranpur Assembly seat for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, a victory she attributes to the unwavering support of the electorate and the strong alliance between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On November 14, 2023, Singh expressed her gratitude to the voters and acknowledged the challenges faced by the NDA in the Seemanchal region during previous elections.
In her remarks following the announcement of the election results, Singh stated, “You must have heard the popular line, ‘Nitish ji aur Modi ji ki jodi hit hai’,” translating to “Nitish Kumar’s and PM Modi’s ‘jodi’ is a hit in Bihar.” She emphasized that the results demonstrate the continued appeal of this partnership among voters in the state.
Singh, who has now been elected as an MLA for a second time, noted that Pranpur is historically a difficult constituency. “This victory is because of the people’s support,” she added, highlighting the significant role played by party workers in her campaign efforts. Surrounded by jubilant BJP supporters, she acknowledged their relentless dedication and commitment.
Reflecting on the electoral journey, Singh admitted that it was challenging, stating, “Yes, absolutely. The road was very difficult. Our workers put in tremendous effort, and the people of Pranpur blessed us wholeheartedly.” Her comments illustrate the hard-fought nature of the campaign and the resilience of the party’s grassroots organization.
The BJP’s success in Pranpur is a significant development for the NDA, particularly as they work to consolidate their position in the Seemanchal region, where they have previously encountered stiff opposition. Singh’s victory is seen as a marker of the alliance’s resurgence and its ability to connect with voters in a challenging political landscape.
As the BJP prepares for future elections, Singh’s win signals a positive momentum for the party and its leadership in Bihar. The partnership between Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi continues to resonate with the electorate, reinforcing their status as key players in the region’s political dynamics.
