“Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy,” the actor’s team, Team Sunny Deol, communicated through the social media post.

Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s wife and a sitting Member of Parliament for Mathura, had also provided updates on her husband’s condition. On October 9, she expressed gratitude for the public’s concern and confirmed that her husband is being “continuously monitored.” Malini urged supporters to pray for his health and well-being, stating, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him.”

Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai has been Dharmendra’s place of care for several days. Family members including Sunny Deol and their daughter Esha Deol have been visiting frequently to support him during this time.
