Jagga Reddy Urges Action on Delayed Development in Sadashivapet

T. Jagga Reddy, a senior leader of the Congress party and former Member of the Legislative Assembly for Sangareddy, has raised concerns regarding the sluggish pace of development works in Sadashivapet. At a review meeting held on Kandhakam Road, he questioned local officials about the completion of various projects, including the road itself, which received funding back in 2014.
During the meeting, which included Nirmala, chairperson of the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Reddy expressed his disappointment that despite the allocation of ₹20 crores for the Kandhakam Road, the project remains uncompleted. He emphasized the need for prompt action to rectify this situation, highlighting the importance of infrastructure development for the community.
Reddy also noted that the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is experiencing internal conflicts, stating his confidence that the Congress party will regain power in the upcoming elections. He urged the officials to prepare compensation proposals for those affected by the development delays. This includes provisions for housing plots—specifically, 150 yards each for eight individuals, along with monetary compensation of ₹15 lakh for those with concrete slabs and ₹10 lakhs for those with tin roofs.
The former MLA’s proactive approach reflects a broader concern for community welfare and development. He pledged to ensure that both the road and other development projects are inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, reinforcing his commitment to seeing these initiatives through to completion.
Reddy’s statements underscore the pressing need for accountability among local officials and the importance of delivering on promises made to the constituents of Sadashivapet. As the political landscape evolves, the focus on infrastructure and community development remains a critical element of public discourse.
