The Haryana Government has implemented immediate transfers for four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. These changes reflect a strategic reorganization within key departments aimed at enhancing governance and efficiency across the state.

Details of the Transfers

Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru, who previously held the position of Additional Chief Secretary of the Fisheries and Transport departments, has now been designated as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. Despite this new appointment, he will retain his responsibilities as Additional Chief Secretary for the Transport Department.

D. Suresh will maintain his role as Resident Commissioner at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi while also taking on the position of Principal Secretary for the Fisheries Department. This dual responsibility underscores the importance of both roles in managing the state’s resources effectively.

In another significant move, Shashvat Sangwan, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Thanesar, has been appointed as Mission Director for the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). He will replace Jaideep Kumar, who will receive separate posting orders for his next assignment. Following his transition, Sangwan is expected to report to the office of the Chief Secretary, where he will begin his new responsibilities.

These transfers are part of the Haryana Government’s ongoing efforts to optimize administrative functions and improve service delivery to the public. The swift action taken by the government demonstrates its commitment to effective governance and responsiveness to the evolving needs of the state.
