DP World India Championship 2025: Cut Line Projected at 1-Under

The 2025 DP World India Championship is entering its second round, with the cut line projected to be around 1-under par after 36 holes. This prestigious tournament, showcasing elite players such as Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Shane Lowry, commenced on October 16, 2025. Only those golfers who meet or exceed the cut line will continue to compete over the weekend.
As the tournament progresses on Friday, the competition remains fierce. After the opening round, Shane Lowry held the lead at an impressive 8-under par, closely followed by Keita Nakajima. However, as the second round unfolds, Tommy Fleetwood has made a significant move, currently leading at 11-under par. The final leaderboard will be determined once all players have completed their rounds.
Several notable players are struggling below the projected cut line and face the risk of elimination. Among them are John Parry, Shubhankar Sharma, and Matthew Baldwin, who may miss the opportunity to advance. Additionally, Viktor Hovland has encountered challenges on the greens, currently tied for 57th place at 1-under par. Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri is positioned slightly better, tied for 45th place.
With the stakes high and the competition intense, the outcome of the DP World India Championship 2025 will depend on the performances of these talented golfers as they vie for a place in the final rounds. Fans are eagerly awaiting the completion of the second round to see who will secure their spot in the weekend’s play.
