National Conference on Agricultural Science Kicks Off at BESTIU

The National Conference on Agricultural Science & Technology 2025 commenced on March 15, 2025, at Best Innovation University (BESTIU) in Gorantla. The event aims to facilitate critical discussions surrounding sustainable agricultural innovation, advancements in technology, and the sharing of knowledge among various stakeholders in the field.
Dr. Divya Vadlamudi, Vice Chancellor of BESTIU, welcomed distinguished guests and participants, setting a collaborative tone for the conference. Dr. Ramgopal Mopuri, the Conference Convenor, provided an overview of the event, outlining its key objectives and themes that focus on enhancing agricultural practices through technology.
During the inaugural session, Bharat Lal Meena, Chairman of BESTIU, officially launched the Book of Abstracts and delivered an impactful speech. He emphasized the vital role of innovation in agriculture, stating that advancements in this sector are crucial for addressing global food security challenges.
The conference featured notable speakers, including Dr. Gopal Lal, Director of the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) in Hyderabad. He shared valuable insights about the future of agricultural science and technology, discussing the integration of research and practical applications to improve productivity.
Dr. AB Patil, President of the Institution of Agricultural Technologists, captivated the audience with his keynote address. He focused on the transformative power of technology in agriculture, highlighting examples of successful tech-driven initiatives that have enhanced farm efficiency.
Another significant contributor, Dr. Hardev Choudhary, Scientist-E at the National Innovation Foundation – India, underscored the importance of innovation in fostering agricultural development. His remarks resonated with the conference’s theme, which aims to inspire collaborative efforts among researchers, experts, and stakeholders.
The event is organized in collaboration with NAARM, Hyderabad, and the National Innovation Foundation, Ahmedabad. Pro Vice Chancellors Dr. Naga Jyothi and Dr. Anuradha Dhar have played critical roles in ensuring the success of the conference.
