Eight BDU Scientists Ranked Among World’s Top 2% by Stanford

A total of eight scientists from Bharathidasan University (BDU) have been recognized in the latest rankings by Stanford University, featuring among the top 2% of scientists globally. This prestigious list highlights the remarkable contributions of researchers across various fields, emphasizing their impact on both academia and the scientific community at large.

Among the distinguished faculty members, M. Lakshmanan and R. Ramesh achieved recognition in both the career-long impact and the single year 2024 lists. Meanwhile, M. Palaniandavar was included solely in the career-long impact category. The remaining professors, including S. Dhanuskodi, N. Thajuddin, M. Sathiyabama, R. Rajaram, and T.C.
