Salman Khan Criticizes Farrhana Bhatt Over Remarks about Gaurav Khanna
In a heated episode of *Bigg Boss 19*, host Salman Khan confronted contestant Farrhana Bhatt over her derogatory remarks regarding fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna and the television industry. The confrontation occurred during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment, where Salman addressed comments made by Farrhana after she exited a captaincy task.
Salman expressed his anger towards Farrhana, questioning her perspective as a woman. He stated, “Aap aurat ho, aapka koi point of you nahi hai? — Whose insult is that? His or all women?” He emphasized the importance of television as a medium, remarking, “Kya burayi hai bhai, main khud TV par aata hoon,” which translates to “What’s wrong with doing television? I myself work on TV.” He noted the careers of prominent figures such as Shah Rukh Khan, who began his journey in television, and still participates in it alongside his film career.
With palpable frustration, Salman challenged Farrhana’s dismissal of the TV industry. He highlighted the success of its stars, stating, “Agar Gaurav ko aapne TV par nahi dekha, iske shows nahi dekhe toh aap ignorant hain,” meaning “If you have not seen Gaurav on TV, then you are ignorant.” He pointed out that Gaurav has been a dedicated actor, working tirelessly for nearly two decades.
Salman defended Gaurav’s stature in the industry, asserting, “If he says he is the superstar of TV and you don’t agree with it, then I’m saying he is the superstar of TV.” He praised Gaurav’s resilience, noting his ability to maintain composure in the face of criticism. Salman remarked, “He handled your words with grace and never went personal,” commending Gaurav for rising above the derogatory comments.
Farrhana’s previous claims about her knowledge of theatre were also scrutinized. Salman, addressing her arrogance, stated, “This girl here has done one scene in *Notebook*, she has done *Simba*, 6 seconds ka role hai,” referring to her limited experience in the industry. He questioned her motivations for participating in the show, suggesting that her behavior could indicate a desire to play a villain.
As the confrontation continued, Salman reminded Farrhana of her past interactions with Gaurav, highlighting how he had brought her back into the competition after an elimination. He concluded with a stern warning about her behavior, stating, “Unless I don’t see a change in your behaviour, I’m not going to be okay with you.”
In the aftermath of the exchange, social media reactions were swift, with some users criticizing Salman for what they perceived as misogynistic remarks. The dialogue sparked debate among fans of the show, highlighting the fine line between criticism and support in reality television dynamics.
As the season progresses, viewers are left to wonder how these interactions will impact the relationships within the house and the overall trajectory of the competition. Keep an eye on *Bigg Boss 19* for further developments and updates on this ongoing story.
