Sagar Parekh Expresses Interest in Future Reality Shows

Sagar Parekh, known for his role as Samar in the popular television series Anupamaa, has expressed a keen interest in participating in future reality shows, specifically mentioning Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi. In a recent interview with Zoom/Telly Talk, the actor, who currently portrays Akash Thakur in Jagriti on Zee TV, discussed his aspirations within the reality television genre.
During the interview, Parekh noted his current age of under 30 and reflected on his experience in reality television, stating, “I have already experienced one reality (show), which is one of the best realities, where you have to work hard as it is talent-based.” He referred to his stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, highlighting the demanding nature of talent-based competitions.
Desire to Explore More Reality Shows
Parekh conveyed excitement about the possibility of joining established shows, saying, “I am looking forward to different realities. I am sure Bigg Boss aanewala hai. Apart from Bigg Boss, there is Khatron Ke Khiladi. These are legacies which have been going on for years. Har star ka sapna hota hai. Definitely, I would like to be a part of something like that.” His enthusiasm reflects a common aspiration among actors to participate in these high-profile programs.
In his career thus far, Sagar Parekh has built a reputation through various television series, including Mera Balam Thanedar, Pandya Stores, and his notable role in Anupamaa. He emphasized that his primary goal has always been to be recognized as an actor, rather than a social media influencer. “I have never promoted myself as a TikToker or social media influencer. Trust me, it is very difficult to create an image of a good actor,” he remarked.
Future Aspirations
Sagar Parekh’s determination to be acknowledged for his acting talent continues to drive his career choices. He mentioned, “I don’t know how much I have succeeded. But my effort is to be known as an actor. And when you are known as an actor, you get shows. I got Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa after I got famous as an actor.” This statement underlines his commitment to his craft and the importance he places on building a solid foundation in acting.
As he continues to navigate the television industry, Parekh’s openness to participating in reality shows could lead to new opportunities that further enhance his profile as an actor. With a growing fan base and a passion for diverse roles, Sagar Parekh remains an engaging figure in the entertainment landscape, poised for potential new ventures in the world of reality television.
