Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ Set for Digital Release
The much-anticipated film, Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1, directed by Rishab Shetty, is expected to make its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video on October 30, 2025, according to ETimes. As a deep dive into the spiritual and cultural roots of coastal Karnataka, the film explores themes of tradition and mythology. Shetty stars as Berme, a warrior who becomes the first to commune with the divine Panjurli spirit. The cast also features Rukmini Vasanth as Princess Kanakavathi and Gulshan Devaiah as Prince Kulasekhara.
