The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) is set to hold a series of property tax camps in zone 3, aimed at assisting residents with outstanding dues and necessary documentation. These camps will take place from November 8 to November 30, 2023, providing a platform for residents to rectify details and secure on-site self-certification.

The camps will operate daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Residents are encouraged to bring essential documents, including their Aadhaar and PAN cards, as well as property ownership documents, preferably in digital format. This initiative seeks to facilitate a smoother process for self-certification and verification.

Details of the Camps

Pradeep Dahiya, the MCG commissioner, emphasized the importance of these camps in addressing property tax-related issues and ensuring residents have access to necessary resources. “The objective of these special camps is to provide a quick resolution to the problems related to property tax and drinking water connection faced by citizens. I appeal to everyone to visit the camps in maximum numbers and avail these benefits,” he stated.

The first camp will commence on November 8 at house number 384, Ramlila Ground, Jacobpura, under the supervision of ward number 27 councillor Ashish Gupta. Following this, a second camp is scheduled for November 9 at house number J-S/21, DLF-2, overseen by councillor Vipin Yadav.

Another camp will be held on November 15 at house number A-56, Ashok Vihar, Phase-1, near Hanuman Mandir, managed by civic officials and councillor Parminder Kataria. On November 16, a camp will take place in Sector 21 at the councillor’s office, Pocket E, near the police mess, with oversight from ward number 3 councillor Rakesh Yadav.

Additional camps are planned for November 22 at house number V-40/2, DLF-3, and November 23 in Sector 23A at house number 4579P, located near the government school.

This initiative reflects MCG’s commitment to ensuring that residents have the resources and support they need to manage their property tax obligations effectively. The accessibility of these camps is expected to encourage higher participation among residents, ultimately fostering a more informed and engaged community.
