Alaya F Reflects on Her Journey with Hrithik Roshan as She Prepares for New Role
Alaya F is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in her career with the upcoming web series Storm, produced by none other than Hrithik Roshan. This project marks Roshan’s debut as a producer in the digital space and has garnered significant attention. In a recent conversation, Alaya reflected on her first encounter with Roshan and how a childhood film played a pivotal role in shaping her aspirations in Bollywood.
Alaya’s fascination with the film industry began with the 2006 blockbuster Krrish, starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. She admitted that prior to this film, she had little interest in Hindi cinema. “I was never really a big Bollywood fan the way people are, growing up. But then I saw Krrish, and I think that was like a childhood-defining moment for me,” she shared. The film left a lasting impression, leading her to admire both Roshan and Chopra deeply.
Her admiration for Hrithik Roshan took a personal turn when her grandfather, Kabir Bedi, was working on the film Kites. Alaya recalled, “I remember my Nana wasn’t used to me being very enthusiastic about anything related to the industry, but I was like, ‘Oh my god, I want to meet him.’” On one occasion, Bedi took her to the film set, where she had her first opportunity to meet Roshan.
“I went mute. I did not say a word,” Alaya recounted, highlighting her nervousness at the time. “My Nana urged, ‘Say something.’ And I did not say a word. That was my first interaction.” Years later, when she met Roshan again, the conversation flowed freely, showcasing her growth from a starstruck child to a confident actress.
As she prepares for Storm, Alaya expressed her enthusiasm for working alongside a talented cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Saba Azad, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajit Kapur. “We haven’t started shooting yet. Everyone is really lovely, everyone has really great energy,” she remarked. Alaya conveyed her excitement about the collaborative process, stating, “I think it’s going to be great fun.”
Directed by Ajitpal Singh, who gained recognition for his work on Tabbar, Storm is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The anticipation surrounding the series continues to build, as fans eagerly await its release and the opportunity to see Alaya and Hrithik Roshan’s collaboration come to life.
Alaya F’s journey from a captivated viewer to a rising star in the industry is a testament to her passion and determination. As she steps into this new role, it is clear that her early experiences have profoundly influenced her career trajectory, and her enthusiasm for the industry remains as vibrant as ever.
