Nikhil Nanda Acquires ₹28 Crore Luxury Apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu

Nikhil Nanda, the chairman and managing director of Escorts Kubota Limited, has purchased a luxury apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, for approximately ₹28 crore. This transaction highlights the ongoing demand for high-end real estate in one of the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods. According to documents sourced from Liases Foras, a reputable real estate research firm, the deal was executed by Nanda’s sister, Nitasha Nanda, who acted as the Power of Attorney holder.
Nanda, who is married to Shweta Nanda, the daughter of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, secured a unit in the K Raheja Corp’s Maestro project. The apartment encompasses a total area of around 3,550 square feet, including a spacious terrace. The property also features three dedicated car parking spaces, further enhancing its appeal.
October 16, 2025, marked the formal registration of the Agreement for Sale, with the property officially valued at ₹28.39 crore. The transaction included a stamp duty payment of ₹1.70 crore. The seller of the apartment was identified as K Raheja Corp Real Estate Pvt. Ltd, a prominent name in the luxury real estate sector.
About the Maestro Project
K Raheja Corp is well-known for its upscale developments, and the Maestro project is no exception. In 2023, the company announced the launch of ultra-luxury residences within this micro-market, situated at the historic BR House, which has deep connections to Bollywood heritage. The initiative reflects a significant investment in real estate, particularly as the company had acquired the bungalow from the family of noted filmmaker B R Chopra for ₹182.75 crore in May 2022.
The Maestro project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and will offer around 100,000 square feet of premium saleable area. It promises stunning views overlooking the expansive Juhu Aerodrome on one side and the serene Arabian Sea on the other, appealing to an elite clientele that includes top industrialists, CEOs, and media executives.
K Raheja Corp has stated that the project aims to honor the artistic legacy of B R Chopra, celebrating cinematic heritage while catering to discerning tastes. The luxury residences are designed to attract high-profile individuals, reflecting the status and lifestyle of its prospective residents.
As of now, there has been no response from K Raheja Corp regarding this transaction, and efforts to reach Nikhil Nanda for comment remain unanswered. The story will be updated should further information be made available.
The acquisition of such a prominent property underscores the continuing trend of affluent individuals investing in luxury real estate, particularly in major urban centers like Mumbai. This reflects broader economic trends and the allure of high-value properties in prime locations.
