BTS V Thrills Fans with Ceremonial First Pitch at Dodger Stadium
BTS member V captivated fans during a recent appearance at Dodger Stadium, where he threw the ceremonial first pitch before the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds. With a baseball glove in hand and dressed in a Dodgers jersey featuring the number 7, V’s entrance was met with enthusiastic cheers from thousands of fans in attendance.
As his entrance music, BTS’s hit “MIC Drop,” played in the background, V’s presence felt electrifying. He confidently delivered the first pitch, which was caught by pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The excitement escalated as the music transitioned to another BTS anthem, “Fire,” further energizing the crowd.
Fans shared videos of the moment on social media, showcasing V addressing the audience with the phrase, “It’s time for Dodgers baseball.” His warm-up routine and impressive throw from the mound drew applause, and he also had the opportunity to meet Shohei Ohtani, a star player for the Dodgers, which added to the memorable experience.
V’s choice of the number 7 on his jersey sparked discussions among fans. While some speculated he might select his birth year, 1995, he opted for the number that represents BTS, winning admiration from the loyal BTS ARMY.
Fans React to V’s Memorable Moment
The reaction from the audience highlighted V’s impact at the event. Many supporters wore jerseys and hats emblazoned with his name, leading to heartfelt reactions from the artist. One fan expressed gratitude, saying, “It’s so adorable, my love! Thank you for giving us an incredible moment.”
The significance of the occasion was not lost on long-time fans, with one noting that in 2014, V had visited Dodger Stadium as a fan and now returned as a featured guest. The live commentary during the event praised his left-handed throw and sparked conversations about the potential for him to join the Dodgers in a more official capacity.
With approximately 69.2 million followers on Instagram, V’s fame continues to grow, with fans acknowledging his stature in the entertainment world. He becomes the third BTS member to participate in a ceremonial pitch, following Jungkook and J-Hope.
As the excitement subsided, V’s return to the studio to work on BTS’s upcoming post-military comeback album became a topic of interest. The blend of sports and entertainment during the event showcased the enduring appeal of BTS and their members, solidifying V’s status as a beloved figure in both the music and sports communities.
