The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has officially unveiled its manifesto for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The document, named *Sankalp Patra*, was launched in Patna by prominent leaders, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Jagat Prakash Nadda. This manifesto outlines a range of welfare and employment initiatives aimed at benefiting the youth, women, and economically disadvantaged groups within the state.

Among the key promises is the creation of over one crore jobs, both in government and the private sector. The NDA aims to establish Mega Skill Centers in every district, positioning Bihar as a Global Skilling Hub. This initiative is designed to support various demographics, including youth, women, backward classes, Dalits, and farmers.

Infrastructure Developments

The NDA’s plans also include significant infrastructure improvements. The manifesto details the construction of seven expressways and the introduction of metro train services in four additional cities. Furthermore, the establishment of ten new industrial parks is intended to boost economic growth in Bihar.

In a move to empower women in entrepreneurship, the NDA has announced financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh under the *Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana*. This initiative aims to create one crore female entrepreneurs, referred to as *Lakhpati Didis*, through self-help and entrepreneurship schemes. Another program, *Mission Crorepati*, will focus on selected women entrepreneurs, providing them with resources to expand their businesses and achieve financial independence.

The manifesto also emphasizes support for the Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs). The NDA has pledged assistance of up to ₹10 lakh for various professional groups within this category to help strengthen their economic foundation.

Education and Agricultural Support

In terms of educational initiatives, the NDA promises free quality education from kindergarten through postgraduate levels. Additionally, the alliance has introduced the *Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi*, which will provide farmers with ₹3,000 per crop season, ensuring a minimum support price (MSP) for their produce.

The release of the NDA’s manifesto follows the *Mahagathbandhan*, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, which previously launched its own document titled *Bihar Ka Tejashwi Pran*.

Voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly is scheduled to occur in two phases on November 6 and November 11. Additionally, bye-elections for eight seats across seven states and Union Territories will take place on November 11. The results for both elections will be announced on November 14, marking a significant moment in Bihar’s political landscape as parties present their visions for the future.
