Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Set to Move into Their Luxury Bungalow

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are preparing to relocate to their lavish bungalow in Pali Hill, Mumbai, with plans for a housewarming celebration this Diwali. The couple’s new home, valued at approximately Rs 250 crore, is expected to be the setting for a new chapter in their lives as they settle in with their daughter, Raha, and Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor. Reports indicate that the family will officially move into their new residence on October 18, 2023.
The excitement surrounding their move has intensified after a recent social media post purportedly from the couple surfaced online. Although unverified, the message expresses their appreciation for the support they have received and includes a heartfelt plea for privacy as they adjust to their new surroundings. The note reads, “Diwali is all about gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are thankful for all the warmth and support you’ve shown us, and we hope we can continue to rely on your consideration for our privacy and that of our family, home, and wonderful neighbours. Sending you and your family all our love this festive season. Happy Diwali!”
The couple’s impending move comes on the heels of Alia Bhatt’s recent frustration over a viral video showcasing their newly constructed six-story bungalow. The video highlighted the home’s modern decor and lush green hanging gardens but was filmed without their consent. Alia referred to the unauthorized recording as a “clear invasion of privacy” and a significant security concern. She urged the public and media to refrain from sharing the footage further.
Details of Their New Residence
The Krishna Raj Bungalow, named to honor the Kapoor family’s heritage, is among the most expensive celebrity homes in India. The property features modern interiors, multiple entertainment areas, and a spacious terrace garden, blending contemporary luxury with historical significance. It is reportedly registered in the name of their daughter, Raha Kapoor, further emphasizing its importance to the family.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who last appeared together in the blockbuster Brahmastra, are set to reunite in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming film titled ‘Love and War’, which will also star Vicky Kaushal. The film is scheduled for release in March 2026.
As the couple prepares for this new beginning, their dedication to maintaining their privacy stands out, particularly in an industry where public interest often overshadows personal lives. With Diwali approaching, the move signifies not just a change of residence but also an opportunity for the couple to embrace their growing family and the future ahead.
