BB Racing Triumphs in Thrilling Opening of Indian Supercross League

The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) kicked off its second season with an exhilarating Round 1 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, where BB Racing claimed the top position. The event attracted thousands of motorsport enthusiasts who witnessed intense competition featuring both international stars and local talent.

BB Racing emerged victorious, establishing itself as a formidable contender for the season. The opening weekend showcased a thrilling atmosphere, with riders competing under the stadium lights, drawing attention to the growing popularity of Supercross in India. This round marked a significant moment for the league, as it highlighted the integration of global talent with Indian athletes.

In the 450cc International Class, Australian rider Matt Moss from BigRock Motorsports conquered the challenging track, securing a notable victory on his Kawasaki. Meanwhile, Hunter Schlosser from the USA, representing BB Racing, excelled in the 250cc International Class aboard his Honda, demonstrating exceptional skill and speed. The 250cc India-Asia Mix category saw Ben Hallgren of Gujarat Trailblazers take the chequered flag, thrilling the crowd with his performance.

The event featured a diverse lineup of riders, including top competitors from Australia, France, the USA, South Africa, and Thailand, along with promising Indian talents such as Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, and Prajwal Vishwanath. With over 36 international athletes from 21 countries participating this season, India is emerging as a key player in the global Supercross arena.

The atmosphere was further enhanced by the Reise Moto Fan Park, offering fans a unique motorsport carnival experience. This included interactive gaming zones, food stalls, live music, and exclusive merchandise, which contributed to the vibrant energy of the event. The enthusiastic crowd reiterated the passionate following for motorsport in India.

Co-founder of ISRL, Eeshan Lokhande, expressed pride in the competition, stating that seeing top-tier international riders alongside Indian talent signifies a pivotal moment for the league. He emphasized that India is evolving from a mere spectator to a serious competitor in global motorsports, aiming to cultivate young riders and position India prominently on the Supercross map.

Mr. Veer Patel, Co-founder and Managing Director of ISRL, shared his enthusiasm regarding the success of Round 1. He noted that the overwhelming response in Pune underscores India’s passion for racing. Patel remarked that the event’s level of competition, fan engagement, and overall scale signify the rapid evolution of motorsport in India. He envisions this as the beginning of a new sporting movement that intertwines entertainment, innovation, and community.

The excitement now shifts to Hyderabad for Round 2, scheduled for December 6–7, 2025, with the grand finale set to take place in Kozhikode, Kerala, on December 20–21, 2025. As the season progresses, all eyes will be on how BB Racing and other teams continue to shape the thrilling narrative of the ISRL.
