Bijan Robinson Dominates Week 13, Davante Adams Sets New Record
Week 13 of the 2025 fantasy football season showcased remarkable performances, with standout players like Bijan Robinson, A.J. Brown, and Patrick Mahomes making significant impacts. Simultaneously, some fantasy mainstays such as Lamar Jackson, Saquon Barkley, and Puka Nacua struggled to meet expectations. Analysts Matt Bowen and Tristan H. Cockcroft provide insights into the key winners and losers from this week’s matchups.
Top Fantasy Winners of Week 13
1. Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons: Robinson turned in an impressive performance against the New York Jets, accumulating a season-high 30.3 fantasy points. He carried the ball 23 times for 142 rushing yards and scored one touchdown, also adding five receptions for 51 yards. This marks his second game scoring 30 or more points in the last three outings. Heading into the fantasy playoffs next week against Seattle, he is positioned as a top-five running back.
2. A.J. Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: In a closely contested match against the Chicago Bears, Brown recorded 35.2 fantasy points, with 10 receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. His ability to excel in contested situations emphasizes his skill set. With back-to-back games scoring over 25 points and a favorable upcoming schedule, Brown is trending upward as a WR1.
3. Patrick Mahomes, QB, and Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: Despite a challenging Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys, both Mahomes and Rice delivered solid fantasy performances. Mahomes tallied 29.4 fantasy points, showcasing his consistency with 266.3 total points for the season. Rice matched Mahomes with 29.4 points, leading the Chiefs with 12 targets. Although they face a tougher matchup against the Houston Texans in Week 14, Mahomes remains a top-six quarterback, while Rice is positioned as a strong WR2.
4. Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Adams continued to solidify his legacy as one of the game’s premier receivers, scoring 21.8 fantasy points with two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers. This performance marks his sixth consecutive game with a touchdown reception from within 10 yards, extending his record-setting streak. With 11 touchdowns this season, he is just two short of his own record set in 2020, with a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals next week.
5. Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers: In a gritty performance against the Rams, Young completed 75% of his passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns, earning 22.5 fantasy points. This marks his second game exceeding 20 points in the last three outings. As the Panthers head into a bye week, Young’s development looks promising, making him a viable option in 2QB formats for the fantasy playoffs.
Top Fantasy Losers of Week 13
1. Lamar Jackson, QB, and Zay Flowers, WR, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson struggled significantly, recording only 27 rushing yards and three turnovers in a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. His inability to find rhythm resulted in only 0.6 fantasy points for Flowers, leading to concerns about their reliability for upcoming matches against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Bengals.
2. Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley faced a tough outing against the Bears, contributing just 5.6 fantasy points, his second-lowest total of the season. With 56 rushing yards on 13 carries and no receptions, his performance reflects the struggles of the Eagles’ offensive line. Looking ahead, Barkley may only be a low-end RB2 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
3. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions: In a challenging matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Gibbs managed only 11.6 points despite receiving 23 touches. He struggled to make an impact against a top-10 defense, but he remains a candidate for a bounce-back game in Week 14 against the Cowboys.
4. Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Nacua recorded 13.2 fantasy points, but his production has been overshadowed by Adams’ dominance. His performance included a late 31-yard catch, which saved his week. Fantasy managers are hoping for a return to earlier-season form when Stafford was throwing over 40 times per game, especially with upcoming matchups against the Cardinals and Lions.
5. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Egbuka’s performance has been lackluster, with only 8.2 points from four catches against the Cardinals. After a strong start to the season, he has struggled to reach double digits in six of his last seven games, raising concerns about his ongoing role in the Buccaneers’ offense.
6. Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Despite a favorable matchup against the Titans, Etienne’s production was disappointing, yielding only 5.1 fantasy points. His playing time has decreased recently, making him a risky start heading into Week 14 against the Colts.
Injury updates also impacted Week 13, with Parker Washington, WR for the Jaguars, suffering a hip injury during a punt return. His status for the coming weeks remains uncertain, but Jakobi Meyers is expected to step up as the primary receiver for quarterback Trevor Lawrence in Washington’s absence.
As the fantasy playoffs approach, managers will need to assess their rosters carefully, taking into account both standout performances and disappointing outputs from Week 13.
