IIM Sirmaur Hosts Pinnacle-2025 to Shape Future Leadership

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur recently concluded its flagship leadership conclave, Pinnacle-2025, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to bridging academia and industry. The event, held on the scenic IIM-Sirmaur campus, focused on the theme “Leadership Lessons in the Age of AI,” and brought together prominent leaders from various sectors to discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence on modern leadership.
Over two days, the conclave featured a series of dynamic panel discussions across key areas such as marketing, human resources, tourism, and finance. Each session aimed to provide insights into how technology is reshaping business leadership and operational landscapes.
Exploring AI’s Role in Leadership
The marketing panel included industry experts such as Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra from EID Parry India Ltd, Vikram Kumar of Spandana Sphoorthy, Dolar Adesara from Razorpay, and Rohit Gulati of Johnson & Johnson. They discussed the importance of leveraging AI-powered personalisation and predictive analytics to understand consumer behaviour, which is becoming increasingly vital in a competitive marketplace.
In the human resources segment, speakers like Syed Moazzam Daimi from Vodafone, Panchali Dabholkar of AMDOCS, Tulika Jain from BCG, and Vivek Agarwal of Mastercard shared their perspectives on the integration of human potential with AI capabilities. They highlighted that while automation can transform work processes, it also opens new avenues for collaboration, reskilling, and growth driven by purpose.
The tourism panel featured insights from Brijesh Modi of Thomas Cook, Sriram Gopalswamy from Sabre, Roshan Kakkat of Alhind Group, and Ravi Jakkula from Amadeus. They addressed the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation in the travel industry, emphasizing the need to maintain human connections and ethical practices.
In the finance discussion, experts like Nitin Makhija from MNC Bank, Ankit Doshi of BlackRock, and Ankur Jain from Macquarie Group examined how AI is revolutionizing investment analytics, financial forecasting, and risk management amid global economic fluctuations.
The conclave concluded with a vision of empowering future leaders to navigate complexities with integrity and innovation. IIM-Sirmaur reiterated its dedication to fostering a leadership ethos that balances technological advancement with human values.
Honoring Courage and Leadership
In a separate but equally significant event, IIM-Sirmaur hosted a ceremony to honor distinguished officers of the Indian Air Force, Wing Commander Raveesh Vashisht and Squadron Leader Ankita. The ceremony celebrated their service and commitment to the nation, leaving a profound impact on the campus community.
Wing Commander Vashisht received the prestigious Mention-in-Despatches Presidential Award for his exemplary service. During the event, both officers shared insights from their military careers, inspiring students and faculty alike. Wing Commander Vashisht discussed the importance of collective effort and maintaining composure under pressure, while Squadron Leader Ankita emphasized the values of perseverance, discipline, and unity in national service.
Their compelling narratives resonated deeply with the IIM-Sirmaur community, motivating students to approach their professional journeys with a sense of conviction and purpose. Professor Prafulla Agnihotri, Director of IIM-Sirmaur, expressed gratitude to the officers for their service and inspiring presence.
Through events like Pinnacle-2025 and the tribute to Air Force officers, IIM-Sirmaur continues to cultivate a culture of leadership that is not only forward-thinking but also deeply rooted in integrity and social responsibility.
