University of Delhi Releases First Seat Allotment List Today

The University of Delhi has announced the release of the first seat allotment list for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025. This list will be available to applicants today, July 19, 2025, starting at 17:00 (5 PM). Candidates who registered during Phase 1 of the admission process can view the allotment list on the official websites, du.ac.in and ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
The allocation list has been meticulously prepared based on the preferences submitted by candidates in Phase 1 and their scores from the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET UG). This systematic approach aims to ensure that students receive seats aligned with their chosen courses and performance.
Steps to Access the Allotment List
To access the DU UG CSAS 2025 first seat allotment list, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official DU Admission website at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
2. Click on the link for the DU UG CSAS 2025 First Allotment List.
3. A new page will open displaying the list, which can be downloaded for future reference.
The university has outlined an important timeline for candidates. Students must accept their allotted seats from July 19 to July 21. Following this, respective colleges will verify and approve online applications by July 22. Candidates are required to submit the admission fee online by July 23 to confirm their admission. It is crucial to note that the option to accept a seat is valid only for the round in which it is offered. Failure to accept the seat within the stipulated timeframe will result in exclusion from further rounds of seat allocation.
Available Seats and Future Rounds
This year, the University of Delhi is offering approximately 71,000 undergraduate seats across 69 colleges. The university may conduct additional rounds of seat allotment depending on the availability of seats. Candidates are encouraged to stay informed by regularly checking the official DU website for updates and detailed instructions.
The release of this allotment list marks a significant step in the admissions process, allowing thousands of students to secure their places in one of India’s leading universities.
