Bollywood actor Sohail Khan has publicly shared insights into his divorce from Seema Sajdeh, revealing the couple’s decision was influenced by their children. After 24 years of marriage, the couple parted ways in 2022, a decision they believe was in the best interest of their two sons, Nirvan and Yohan.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Sohail candidly discussed the challenges that led to their separation. He acknowledged that ongoing conflicts played a significant role. “I have lived 24 years with Seema. She is a beautiful girl, and somewhere, some things didn’t work out. But that doesn’t change the equation Seema and I have,” he stated. Sohail emphasized that their relationship remains amicable, noting Seema’s qualities as a caring mother.

Sohail Khan underscored that their mutual decision to separate was heavily influenced by concerns for their children. He articulated a poignant reflection on how marital conflicts can affect young minds, saying, “When the husband and wife start fighting, it only affects the children. The ego that the husband and wife have, they don’t realise that it affects the children, and then the children start getting disturbed.”

The actor expressed a desire to prevent such negative impacts on their sons, stating, “We didn’t want that.” Both Sohail and Seema have committed to maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship, including annual family holidays to foster a nurturing environment for their children.
